Very wise indeed...

I was forwarded this wonderful article published in Blue Avocado, "Angry Activist Gets Old & Wise: A First Person Nonprofit Story" featuring Brenda Crawford, the Executive Director of Mental Health Consumer Concerns, member of the Healthcare Partnership at CCRMC and pioneer of our Patient and Family Advisory Council. I wanted to share it with you. I learn so much everyday. Thank you Brenda.

Sincerely,
Anna

  1. Anna, thanks for posting our partners reflection of her past, present, and future. Old at 63? No way....Wise...absolutely! Brenda brings a depth to our Healthcare Partnership and PFAC that allows us all to learn, feel, grow. Anger has its place, but it can rob us of our power to improve, heal, and change. When dealing with the mental health system, letting go of anger is a challenge. But on those days we are able to sit with our partners and learn, we realize we have the power to fix things. Thank you Brenda for your passion, your heart, your wisdom, your partnership...Teresa
