ccLink is Live!

We are live!

Today, we went live with ccLink! After more than a year and a half, our electronic health record (EHR) is a reality.

It was great to be there with many of our staff as we launched shortly after midnight. As I walked through the hospital and Detention Health on Saturday night and early Sunday, I felt a shared sense of excitement as we took this historic step in our ongoing journey toward improved patient safety, communication and quality. Tomorrow, our Health Centers across the county will begin their day with our new ccLink EHR live!

Though we have reached a major milestone with this state-of-the-art technology, we also know that this is only the beginning. We will continue to develop and expand ccLink, which will help us continue providing the highest quality care with the best technology.

Thank you to our staff for their incredible commitment to our patients and our mission!

More very soon,
Anna

  1. Yay ccLink is Live! Congratulations to Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, Health Centers and Detention Health staff on your hard work to bring Epic to life for our public health system. Thank you to our Board of Supervisors(and Mr. Godley)for their support of the Epic system. This is a wonderful opportunity to link those most vulnerable to health problems with state of the art electronic health record keeping. Our county patients and families deserve this and so does our staff. Thank you all!

  2. I have to say that here at Juvenile Hall, our trepidations motivated us to work extra hard to learn the process of a new system. We have been very anxious. I'm so proud of our team, medical and medical support personnel (medical and non medical), for all the hard work, patience and sense of humor that all have presented during this challenging time. Our Detention Health leadership has been AWESOME. They have given us support and kept in touch to make sure we are "afloat" and not "drowning". I also want to thank our EPIC support team, Danny, Spencer and Frank, they have been wonderfully patient, helpful and knowledgeable. We are live! :)
